The US stock market averages fell below their 200-day moving averages last month and bounced back above them this month. The price action has been associated with the news surrounding the Trump/Israel war against Iran, which saw the announcement of a ceasefire last week, with negotiations that broke off last night. Oil, of course, exploded upwards as the war began and is still trading near $100 a barrel, but what is remarkable is that we never really saw a jump in real stock market price volatility yet.
