Election Odds Update As Shares of NVDA Hit 50-Day MA, So Is It A Buy Now On The Dip?

As Biden drops out of the Presidential 2024 campaign and endorses Harris, here is how the election odds have changed on Predictit.org. They didn’t really move that much, with Trump at 60 cents and the Democrats at 43 cents.

However, they did stop dropping, for the Democrats, and the odds are likely to get a bit closer now as we get to election day.

Meanwhile, shares of NVDA have hit their 50-day moving average, after peaking in June.

Is it a buy now?

I got a few emails from people asking me that, because it is the hottest big cap tech stock of the year and talked about nonstop in the financial media.

The 50-day moving average often acts as a short-term support area.

You can see how NVDA got to that level in March and then ended up higher in early April.

It did go below it briefly, but just briefly.

So, if you want to buy it now that is the way to think about it.

It’s pretty much impossible to predict exact prices bottoms.

That’s why I am not jumping in and out of positions I bought earlier this year and up a lot.

I also don’t need to buy anything else right now, because I’m happy with the things I already own and don’t need to buy more.

I also think people should focus more on sectors that few are talking about, that have been outperforming the market averages this month.

But many are just getting into the market for the first time or don’t own NVDA and feel like they are missing out on it.

The 50-day MA is something for them to think about.

And…..

In this weekend’s WSW Pro update I talked about the gold rally this year, and when I think the stock market will start to rally to new highs again.

It took a hit last week, so how long will it before until the bulls are in charge again?
